Educational Qualification

A pass in the SSLC Examination of this State. (10 years of course of study);

The title of “Tamil Pulavar” is recognized by the University Grants Commission.
Preferential Qualification: Provided that, other things being equal, preference shall be given to employees of Religious Institutions (other than Government Servants) who have put in not less than 5 years of Service.
Note: The higher qualification claimed to have possessed over and above the prescribed qualification for this post should have been obtained by passing the required qualification in the order of studies viz., 10th + HSC or its equivalent +U.G. degree as required under Section 25 of the Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act, 2016. The results of the examination should have been declared on or before the date of Notification

Note:

(ii) “Others” [i.e., Applicants not belonging to SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, and BCs] who have put in five years and more of service in the State/Central Government are not eligible even if they are within the age limit.
(iii) Paragraph 5 of the “Instructions to Applicants” will apply to this recruitment only for Maximum age limit.
Age Concession:
(i) For Persons with Benchmark Disability are eligible for age concession up to 10 years over and above the maximum age limit prescribed. [Section 64 of the Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act, 2016]
(ii) For Ex-Servicemen:
(a) The Maximum age limit is 55 years for applicants (Possessing Minimum General Educational Qualification) belonging to SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, and BCs.
(b) The Maximum age limit is 50 years for “Others”. [Section 63 of the Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act, 2016]
(c) The above-mentioned age concession will not apply to the Ex-Servicemen applicants who have already been recruited to any class or service or category. [Section 3(j) of the Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act, 2016]
